How to be an Exhibitionist!
“Over the past eighteen years ‘Presbury’ has provided a range of services in the Display Exhibition Arena”

Trade shows and exhibitions can be a great way of promoting your products or services. However, such opportunities of promotion can be costly in terms of unit rental, as well as being short lived. For this reason you want to be sure that your exhibition makes the best use of time and resources and promotes your company well.

Portable Display Graphic Panels

If you have a small exhibition stand from a typical starting size of a 3m x 3m shell-scheme, we are able to design and produce either freestanding or wall mounted, portable display graphic panels. These can be produced to any size to present your corporate image, services and/or products. They can also be represented in full colour graphics, including mounted photographs and a display of product samples, if desired. There are three great advantages of portable display panels:

1) Easy transporting and assembly on site.
2) Conveniently stored for future use.
3) Reduce budget costs for future exhibitions.

Bespoke Custom Made Exhibitions

‘Presbury’ has successfully designed and developed various sized, large open floor exhibitions. We can either orchestrate the design, development and management of the exhibition, working on your behalf with your suppliers, or supply the full service required to design and build an exhibition stand to your requirements.

Hire of Display Systems

For the company that needs to display or exhibit at a conference or seminar, we have a hiring service available for our silver anodised aluminium 360° gear-edged, six panel system, with loop nylon display boards for your graphics, photographs and samples. Cost at a value £65.00 (+VAT) per week. Easy to carry and assemble.

Velcro Fixing Self-adhesive

Velcro fixing is a simple and effective way of attaching graphics and samples to a loop nylon shell scheme, or to your own displays. Supplied with various adhesives, a range of twenty-seven different colours, a large range of sizes and available on rolls, in either ‘strip’, ‘dot’ or square format.

Dan & Dave Explain - Email Part 2

Last month we looked at what goes on behind the scenes of e-mail. This month we want to take a peek at the two main types of e-mail system. They are "Web Based" and "PC Based".

Rather than installing special e-mail software on a PC, web based e-mail works through an internet browser, such as Netscape Communicator or MS Internet Explorer. A popular example would be "Hotmail". With this kind of system, the e-mails sent to you are stored on the mail server and can be viewed, printed, deleted and sent by you through a specially created website. Viewing your mail through a website, means you can collect your mail from any PC in the world, that has an internet connection.

Web based systems handle your e-mails as individual web pages, rather than downloading them on bulk and because of this, they are inherently slower than PC based systems. The slower your internet connection, the longer it will take. It is also necessary to stay connected to the internet while you deal with all your mail.

PC based systems require software to be installed, such as MS Outlook or Netscape Messenger. These systems allow you to download your mail to your own PC and store it permanently. PC based systems only require an internet connection while they send or receive mail, so you need not remain connected. Any e-mails you create while you are not connected, are stored in the "Outbox" until you next connect to the internet. At this time, all e-mails waiting in the outbox are sent together and any e-mails waiting on the server are received and downloaded into your "Inbox".

Some Internet Providers, including Presbury.com, will allow you to use both web based and PC based e-mail systems together. This allows you to keep a permanent record of received e-mails on your PC, while still maintaining the flexibility of sending and checking e-mail from any other internet connected PC. Normally, PC systems delete all mail from the server once it is downloaded, so if you still want to see past e-mails through your web mail, your PC system must be set to leave a copy on the server.

Looking Presentable

“As with many things, first impressions do count a great deal”

It is necessary for a company to have a shop window, whether it be in the high street, at an exhibition, viewed in a brochure or, as much desired with today’s modern technology; a website on the Internet. However, alongside this it is very important for a company to give their products a platform of presentation that will promote their products in a good light, but also protect them during distribution.

As with many things, first impressions do count a great deal and that's why our in-house graphic design team can produce high quality artwork for almost any application.

From retail pop-up promotion display units, to flat-pack, self-assembly full colour printed boxes, we have designed and produced appropriate and cost effective packaging, to present and protect products for a wide range of industries. If your need is CD or video inlays, carrier bags or any kind of boxed package, call us on 01509 600367 for a quote.
