E-asy Peasy E-commerce!
If this is your first look into e-commerce, or if you’ve been looking around for a while, our new e-commerce packages could be just what you’ve been waiting for.

An E-commerce store on the Internet allows you to take orders and/or sell your products 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Presbury.com provides various solutions to your E-commerce requirements. These can be stand-alone, added to an existing website, or incorporated into one under construction and provide a simple way to display and sell online.
E-commerce stores can be as straight-forward as a booking form, can be developed into an ordering system, or into a full-blown store with totally secure facilities able to take credit card payments over the Internet.
The E-commerce stores that we supply can be driven either by our standard database or, if required, we can produce a fully bespoke database program built to your exact requirements.

PACKAGES

What is E-Commerce?

Jargon hides the real meaning behind so many everyday things and e-commerce is no exception. Take a look at what e-commerce can really mean for you.

E-commerce has been around for a while now and in many ways has changed the way business is done. The time to get your company on-line has not yet passed, though now it is perhaps even more important than ever.
At Presbury & Company we believe part of the reason companies wait to incorporate e-commerce are due to the myths surrounding e-commerce. One common myth is the belief that to use e-commerce you need to accept credit cards. Another myth is the belief that starting up e-commerce requires heavy amounts of investment. The fact is that neither are true. The last few years have seen incredible developments in the e-commerce arena, as well as increased competition between e-commerce solution providers. That is good news for you, because it brings e-commerce solutions prices down.
Just as e-mail means ‘electronic mail’, e-commerce means ‘electronic commerce’. E-commerce is a broad category including all forms of commercial activity that take place over the internet.
Perhaps the most commonly recognised form of e-commerce is the ‘on-line’ store. Though this is by no means the only form of e-commerce, it is a good starting point for retail companies.
Other forms of e-commerce include on-line Hotel, or Restaurant bookings, on-line auctions, remote printing, dating agencies, insurance quotes, estate agents and mortgages etc.
E-commerce doesn't necessarily mean taking money via the internet. You could have an on-line catalogue, or brochure that draws in business leads, or orders via e-mail, or phone, allowing you to process the actual transaction by more traditional methods.
No longer are we limited to e-commerce through websites. The development of channels such as WAP (internet mobile phones wireless application protocol), or hand held computers, means more and more people are looking for information while on the move and you are now able to reach them.
The fact is that electronic commerce can provide a solution to help you meet the business objectives of almost any organisation. Whatever your thoughts on e-commerce, there is one thing no business can afford to do and that is ignore it.

WebStats

Our Presbury.com ISP packages provide comprehensive statistics about the visits to your website. The full list of all the information that is generated is far too long to go into here, so I shall just mention a few of the key statistics that will be of interest.
To begin with, there is a summary page. This shows the number of visits i.e. the number of times someone has entered your site, the number of pages looked at by those visitors and the number of hits, which is how many pages have been viewed in total and includes repeat viewings of a page. These figures are shown as a total and daily average for each month and a grand total for all the months. The next pages show in-depth statistics for each month and include:
• The time of day when the visits were made
• The number of visits/hits per hour and per day
• The top 20/30 URL’s from which the visits came
• The top 20/30 types of browser being used
• The top 20/30 sites that visits came from as referrals
You can also find out which were the most popular pages for entry and exit from the website. This could help, for instance, to decide whether certain pages might need updating, or making more interesting.
All the figures are displayed in tables and easy view charts and can be downloaded, if required, at any time.
To take advantage of this amazing facility, you need to subscribe to one of our ISP packages. Contact Presbury & Company on 01509 600367 for details.

Introducing Ophone
Ophone is a great new Telecom service that lets you add extra control to your existing phone service - Business, Domestic, Landline, or Mobile.

There are several ways in which Ophone puts Telephone power into your hands:
• You can have more than one number connecting to a single phone line
• You can take your number with you when you move, or change mobile phones
• You can have one number for family, or friends and another number for business contacts, or new acquaintances - with no change to your existing phone number
• You can even earn money each time someone calls your Ophone number. If you receive a lot of calls, a portion of the cost of those calls is credited to you. This is especially good for businesses that receive a high number of calls. Let the phone pay you back for a change. Whenever someone calls your Ophone number, they are automatically re-directed to your real number without knowing any different.

Ophone allows you to discontinue, or change your Ophone number at any time, leaving your real number unchanged.

There are many reasons to have an Ophone number:
• Moving house, or business premises and want a number you can take with you
• Getting a new mobile and keeping your personal number
• Running a business from home and don't want to give out your home number
• Have to give out your number a lot, but would rather keep your existing number private
• Want one number for family and friends and another for business, or new acquaintances from your social scene.
Whatever you need an extra number for, you can get one at Ophone. They don’t cost you anything, can be changed, or disconnected when you need and don't affect your existing landline number.
